Studio 3 : Polytown (2024/25)
As technological progress accelerates, we move from one finite resource to another. Whilst this use of our environment is in some ways inevitable, as architects, we look for less invasive strategies of powering a sustainable future. This particular project examined the extraction of lithium, and looked to celebrate the existing industrial heritage of a Cornish tin mine, whilst providing a community driven piece of infrastructure to last long into an uncertain future. The idea of a lithium future is somewhat flawed, as a finite resource is inherently non-permanent. However, by providing an adaptable industrial hub which uses flexibility as a method of achieving longevity lithium can be the initial propulsion point to a green future, and in this way is infinite.
2024 -

In 2024, I worked on a studio project entitled Slicing and Stitching Stockport, in which I was tasked with a design for a radical and exciting residential development. My project aimed to translate and warp the redbrick language of the town into a vibrant new three storey development, which showcased my design process and language.
2023 -
2023 saw a continuation of my architectural studies, which took precedent over other personal work. With this said, I still made every effort to continue with painting and delve further into digital mediums
2022 - 24
In 2022-24, my artwork involved more painting, as well as a variety of architecture - based work in the run up to a challenging and enthralling first year at university.
