ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Omer Ibrahim and I'm a recent first-class undergraduate architecture graduate from the north west of the UK, achieving high grades throughout my time at Manchester School of Architecture . Despite being relatively early in my journey through the world of architecture, I have already enjoyed advancing through a number of design styles and interests. I see sustainable architecture as being a conversation about temporality and navigating relationships between past and future. Through this lens, I have developed a passion for designing spaces which not only respond to immediate needs, but are adaptable and exist in anticipation of future reuse. I am deeply interested in how principles of longevity and holistic life cycle analysis can inform architectural decisions, which affect a building's environmental impact, but also the psychological quality of space. Architecture is in itself a form of communication and I consider myself to be a thorough designer who places massive importance on communicating process, just as much as the final result. People are at the heart of everything I design, as if a building does not work for YOU, it doesn't work at all
